Erika & Brett

Maternity Session

erika&brett :: davidson maternity session

I’ve been so thrilled that some of our clients have been contacting us recently to photograph them as their families grow. Next month, we get to photograph a gender reveal party for a former wedding couple, and then a family session for a former wedding couple the very next day! I do love shooting weddings, but I gotta say, I’m really enjoying this shift as well :) Maybe it has a little something to do with the fact that we just went down that road ourselves. Maybe it has to do with the fact that I’m baby crazy :) Whatever the case, I love it!

While we didn’t shoot Erika and Brett’s wedding, we did shoot a “family” session of sorts with them and their dog Wally back when I was super duper pregnant last fall. And pretty soon, we’ll meet up with them again for a newborn session since Baby Beckett decided to surprise his Momma and Daddy and come out early! As I’m posting this, he’s already a few days old, though he wasn’t due till September. We can’t wait to meet him soon! Till then, enjoy a few of our favorites of Mom and Dad ¬†:)

Christen & Brandon

Davidson Engagement Session

Good morning, friends! ¬†Just as promised…more blog posts coming down the pipe.

Christen and Brandon will be married this October. For their session we decided to hit up two spots.We started out at Beaver Dam – one of my favorite spots for when our clients want a rustic setting. Second, we hit up the last of the yellow flower fields just down the road in Davidson. Seriously…why can’t flower fields just bloom all year round? I loved the way these all turned out…can’t wait for their wedding this fall!
