Today is our 1 year wedding anniversary!
A year ago today, my whole family was hustling around at The Point hanging japanese lanterns, stringing lights, and making sure everything was just so.
We ate Chick-Fil-A for lunch. I had chicken nuggets with BBQ sauce, waffle fries, and later, a vanilla milkshake because I was scared my stomach would growl in the middle of our ceremony.
We had to start our ceremony 30 minutes late just so everyone could make it through the traffic on the fabulous Brawley School Road.
The weather was PERFECT- warm but not too hot with a breeze off the lake.
Gizmo acted horribly and ate the flower we put in his bowtie.
My daddy cried when he saw me- in the kitchen at the Point.
I did the thing that photographers hate- I looked down as I walked down the aisle! Sorry Cheyenne! I was nervous :)
I married my very best friend in the whole world, surrounded by our closest friends and family.
Here’s to 1 year down and a lifetime more to go…
